The Art of the Unexpected / The Element of Surprise
I am very grateful to be invited to take part in this exhibition and look forward to presenting my work in this special setting.
Floral Spirits & Beyond
In Floral Spirits & Beyond, I explore the hidden stories of nature through poetic and dreamlike visual worlds. Symbolism and emotional resonance are at the heart of my work, helping me explore the connection between humans, nature, and imagination.
The exhibition presents five series of AI-generated giclée prints, where flowers, birds, branches, petals, and other natural elements are woven into visual narratives about life, fragility, strength, and identity. Each series offers my personal interpretation of how nature reflects human emotions and mythical tales.
For me, nature is both a mirror and a source of endless inspiration.
Nest of Silence
A series about silence, inner reflection, and the connection between humans and nature. The female figures carry nests, branches, and birds as part of their bodies - symbols of home, vulnerability, and an inner life deeply intertwined with nature. The series revolves around the idea of resting, of carrying one’s own world, and of finding peace in imperfection.
The Secret Song of the Tulips
A poetic tribute to the hidden language of the tulip. Here, the flower becomes both a shield and a voice, something the figures hide behind or wear as part of their identity. The series explores beauty, transformation, and the magical power of the flower in our cultural history. The tulip represents both hope and transience.
Birdsong
A series of women and birds in an intense play of colors - red, blue, and black. The birds here become symbols of freedom, inner voices, and longing. Each figure is caught in a quiet, almost iconic moment, where human and bird merge in a wordless bond. The series invites reflection on communication, intuition, and the unspoken.
The Emperor’s New Clothes
Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s tale of power and illusion, this series unfolds a visual narrative of vanity, authority, and collective blindness. The emperor stands as a symbol of both the fragility of power and human vulnerability, while the gazing crowd reveals a shared doubt. At The Moment of Truth, the illusion collapses, and what has been concealed is finally revealed. The series invites us to reflect on how we are all part of the mirror of power.
Nature’s Little Tales
A whimsical and poetic series where the child stands in close relation to nature’s small creatures - a frog, a fish, a flower. Each figure carries an element of nature as a symbol of adventure, imagination, and inner stories. The series plays with contrasts between reality and dream, childhood and myth, inviting the viewer into small visual tales full of wonder and magic.
